A large and attractive dining room is where tasty and nutritious home-cooked style meals are served.
Residential rooms are furnished in solid oak but residents may bring some of their own furniture to personalize their residences. Each room has a tiled washroom and some of the units have whirlpool baths. Every room has a call system as well as television and telephone outlets. The bright and spacious rooms also have their own heating and air conditioning controls, smoke detectors and sprinkler systems.
Residents can enjoy cozy lounges on each floor that come complete with television, comfortable seating, brick fireplace and tables where board games can be played. Also attached to the lounges are wind-protected balconies where residents are able to sit and enjoy the panoramic views of the village.
In our spacious auditorium, there is ample seating, long tables and a stage to be used during special events, gatherings and activities. The auditorium is filled with natural sunlight from the large windows that make up the back wall.
Inside the auditorium, a growing library can be found. It houses a large variety of books including hard covers, paperbacks and large-print. Residents can sign the books out and return them at their leisure.
Attached to the West wing of the Villa is our ecumenical church that is used for regular masses and special services. It is home to beautiful floor length stained-glass windows.
At the front steps of the Villa, there is a local city bus stop available that provides a convenient mode of transportation for residents to travel in Hamilton. Across from the Villa is a commercial building that contains a pharmacy, bank, and a cafe.
